As a specialized track of teaching and research in luxury brand management, the objective of the Chair is to provide ESSEC MBA students with a unique program combining:
- practical knowledge related to various dimensions of luxury brand management, through lectures given by senior executives and managers from the LVMH group or the luxury industry at large;
- theoretical knowledge through lectures given by university professors, sociologists, and consultants;
- hands-on experience through a field project and a professional internship;
- active participation in various company visits.
The ultimate objective is to prepare students to become efficient managers in the luxury industry upon graduation. Specifically, they should be ready to play an active role in firms in which excellence and international economic performance are jointly sought after. |
